Cruz M. Salinas-Elizondo passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 77, surrounded by this family in Plainview, Texas.  Cruz M. Salinas-Elizondo was born on May 10, 1947, to Gilberto Salinas and Inocencia Salinas-Elizondo in Zaragoza, Cohuila, Mexico.

Cruz was a loving father and grandfather who cherished moments with his family. He had a fondness for Tejano music and being on the farm. He enjoyed feeding the horses, roosters, and other farm animals.  He will always be remembered as a caring man for always helping other people.

Cruz is preceded by his parents, Gilberto and Inocencia Salinas-Elizondo, his wife, Maria Rita Lucio, his daughter, Maria Salinas, his sister, Bertha Salinas and his brother, Jose Maria Salinas.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Juanita Salinas of Mexico.  His sister, Maria Salinas. His brothers, Catarino Salinas, Juan Salinas, one son in law, Ricardo Estrada. 4 grandchildren, Jesus Estrada, Nohemi Estrada, Yahandra Enriquez, Juan Jaime Enriquez, 3 great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
