Graveside Services for Cresencio "C.H." Ontiveros, 94, of Plainview, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Kress Cemetery with Pastor Jose Silva officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Ontiveros passed from this life on March 19, 2018 in Plainview.

C.H. was born on November 18, 1923 in Dilley, Texas to Vicente and Marcilina (Hernandez) Ontiveros. He married Anselma"Emma" Mendoza on August 24, 1942 in Sinton, Texas. From this union they had six children; Cres Jr, Alicia, Manuel, Johnny, Robert, and Sandra. C. H. was ordained as a Deacon on September 15, 1968 at the First Baptist Church in Kress. He worked as a farm hand and at the grain elevator until he retired. Everyone remembers C. H. in his old red pickup selling fruit. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Kress. C.H. was a devoted father, husband, brother, grandpa, Christian and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Alicia Luera and husband Pedro of Guymon, OK., Manuel Ontiveros and wife Alice of San Antonio, Johnny Ontiveros and wife Susan of Turkey, Robert Ontiveros and wife Irene of Alamo, and Sandra Ontiveros of El Reno, OK., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and his two siblings; Felipa Jaso and Ben Ontiveros. He also leaves behind a special friend and her family, Martha Garza.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Marcilina Ontiveros, his wife; Anselma Ontiveros, son; Cres Ontiveros, Jr., and two of his siblings; Lucio Ontiveros and Manuel Ontiveros.
