Funeral services for Christy Carbajal Cruz, 31 of Lubbock will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brad Froese officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Christy died Friday, November 13 in Lubbock. She was born January 15, 1984 in Tulia, Texas to Francisco Carbajal and Marisela Rosales. She married John Ross Cruz on April 16, 2003 in Plainview, Texas. She is survived by her husband, John Ross Cruz of Lubbock; 1 son, Jatyn Anthony Cruz, 13 of Lubbock; 1 daughter, Angel Marie Cruz, 10 of Lubbock; her father, Francisco Carbajal of Tulia; her mother and step-father, Marisela Rosales and Nathaniel Evans of Tulia; 2 brothers, Christopher Ruiz of Plainview and Alex Lopez of Dalhart; 4 sisters, Veronica Salazar of Plainview, Corinna Carbajal of Tulia, Casey Carbajal of North Carolina and Pamela Lopez of Dalhart; her grandfather, Guillermo Carbajal of Tulia; 5 nephews and 1 niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins
