It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Charles "Chuck" Tims went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.  A celebration of life service will be held at the Gazebo in Regional Running Draw Park a.k.a. Kidsville, 3400 W. 4th St., Plainview, TX 79072, on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Reverend Ron Brunson Officiating.   Arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory.

Chuck was born on May 13, 1962, to Clyde and Jerry Linda (Miller) Tims in Friona, Texas.

Chuck was a man whom everyone liked and got along with. He enjoyed fixing things with his buddies, flying R.C. planes, and reading. He has a toy Aussie named "Blu" who went everywhere with him. Chuck carried Christ in his heart, who has restored his soul. Chuck has gone to be with the lord.

Chuck is preceded by his father, Clyde Tims, and his sister Sally Hayes.

His loved ones who will cherish his memories are his wife, Felicia Barrett Tims of Plainview, TX; his mother, Jerry Linda Tims of Sunray, TX; his children, Dusty (wife Lacy) Tims of Sunray, TX; Elizabeth (husband Warren) Reisch of Rockport TX, John Clyde (wife Krystal) Tims of New Braunfels, TX, Kristin (husband Barrlo) Brown of Turpin, OK, Tyler Tims of Dumas, TX, and Kevin Tims of Dumas, TX; his sister, Evelyn Hill of Boerne, TX; his brother, David (wife Meagan) Tims of Sunray, TX. Plus 11 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
