Obituary

Charles Ray "Bo" Timms, 57, passed away in Lubbock, TX on July 21, 2024.  Graveside services will be held at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Lubbock, TX on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Bo was born a twin to Gay Ganske in Abilene, TX on December 9, 1966, to Alvin and Peggy Timms.  He is the 4th of six children.

Bo was a proud veteran as he served his country in the United States Army for over 9 years.  After the Army life, he held many positions ranging from roofing, to welding and various types of construction. Bo had a natural talent of building anything he set his mind to and was proud to say he could operate any piece of heavy equipment.  One of his favorite jobs included constructing high rise buildings, which eventually became his occupation of choice.  He helped build many high rise buildings across the USA.

Bo lived the majority of his life in Texas however, he lived in Virginia for the last 9 plus years with the love of his life Paula Pickard.  He was an adventurous outdoorsman.  He could be found camping, fishing, biking, hiking, cooking out and spending time with family anytime he was not working.  Bo loved his and Paula's two chihuahua's, Cheyene and Chloe.

Bo is preceded in death by his dad, Alvin Timms, and his love, Paula Pickard.  Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Peggy Timms-Harrison and husband Gary of Wolfforth, his children:  Nikki Galaindo, Malerie Turbebille, Charles Ray "Jr" Timms, Jr. and Desiree Timms.  His siblings include his sister, Gay and husband John Ganske of Abilene, TX and sister Haley Timms of Lubbock, TX.  His brothers, Garland and wife Veronica Timms of Lubbock, TX, brother Joel and wife Cindy Timms of Brownwood, TX, and Shane and wife Jennifer Timms of Lincoln, AR.  He had 15 grandchildren, plus several nephews and nieces and numerous friends.

Bobby Havens will officiate.  Bo was gifted with the ability to make friends and touch people's lives, bringing many smiles and laughter.   He will be deeply missed and remembered for his infectious personality that was like no other.
