Funeral services for Celia Castillo, 75 of Plainview will be at 4:00 P.M. Thursday December 29, 2011 at Bartley Memorial Chapel. A graveside will held at Panteon San Ignacio on Saturday in Chihuahua, Mexico. She died on Tuesday December 27, 2011 in Plainview. She was born on October 20, 1936 in Durango, Mexico. She married Jesus Castillo. He died on February 27, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviors include one son, Jose Castillo of Lovington, NM; three daughters, Maria Muniz of Plainview, Maria DeJesus Guerrero of Edmonson, Yolanda Flores of Plainview; three brothers, three sisters, twenty two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
