Funeral services for Carmela "Carmie" Faith Hill, 50 of Hart, Texas will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plainview with Pastor Gerald Boerger and Rev. Ron Brunson officiating. Burial will follow at Hart Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. She went to be with Jesus on Tuesday March 6, 2012 in Plainview. She was born January 18, 1962 in Michigan City, Indiana to Louis and Helen Henckel. She married Dennis Hill on February 14, 1998 in Albuquerque, N.M. She was such a loving, caring, and strong woman who loved Jesus and showed it in everything she did. She was a walking testimony to her faith in God. She was such a comfort and inspiration to all her friends, family and all those whose lives she touched. She enjoyed music and her church and loved the beach and life. She was manager of Plainview Social Security office and was on the R.S.V.P. Board in Plainview. She will be forever loved and greatly missed. Those surviving are her husband, Dennis Hill of Hart, her mother, Helen Henckel of Plainview, 1 son, Tanner Hill of College Station, 1 brother, Louis A. Henckel, Jr. and wife Mellodie of Albuquerque, N.M., a niece and Godchild, Andrea Henckel of Albuquerque N.M., and a nephew, Louis A Henckel III and wife Deanna of Albuquerque, N.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ones favorite charity.
