Carlos "Charlie" Farias Jr. , 40, of Plainview left his earthly home and entered heaven's gates on August 12, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Bartley Memorial Chapel on August 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Charlie was born on January 16, 1981 in Hereford, Texas to Cynthia A. Saiz and Carlos Farias Sr. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Tommy Lewis, going to movies, a good meal, and listening to rock and country music. Charlie was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved Star Wars. He will be greatly missed by so many who had a hand in caring for him. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend.

A very special thanks to the Central Plains MHMR, his wonderful caretakers, and anyone who had a hand in caring for Charlie. May you carry all your special memories forever.

Those left to cherish his memory is his mother, Cynthia A. Saiz of San Antonio, Texas, father; Carlos Farias Sr. of Bowling Green, Kentucky, his brothers; Angelo Farias of St. Paul, Minnesota, Dustin Vela of San Antonio, Texas, and Jakob Ponce of San Antonio, Texas, his special nieces; Bailey, Ava, and Faith, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Charlie is preceded in death by his grandparents; Eloy and Isabel Farias, and his grandmother; Lydia R. Saiz.
