Funeral services for Buddy Charles Brown, 80 of Plainview will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Tim Marrow officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Brown died Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Lubbock. He was born December 29, 1934 in Lindsey, Oklahoma to J. B. and Cora Brown. He is survived by 1 son, Mark Brown and wife Sally of Brownwood; 1 daughter, Bellinda Frye and husband Tony of Lubbock; 1 brother, Lonnie Brown of Plainview; 1 sister, Rosalee Anderson of Haslet; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Frye of Lubbock, Taylor Brown and wife Janna of Dalhart, Keeley Brown of Dallas and Kelsey Frye of Lubbock; a special friend, Dovie Gilleland of Plainview and numerous nieces and nephews.
