With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brian L. Cantrell on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Plainview, Texas. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 12 PM at Garland St. Church of Christ in Plainview, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory of Plainview.

Brian L. Cantrell was born on March 13, 1974, to Rudy and Lois Cantrell.

Brian was always a generous person. If he needed to borrow money to help someone, he would do it without hesitation. He enjoyed riding his Harley, trucking and playing guitar. He spent his life farming and working as a car mechanic, often racing the cars he repaired.

He is survived by his wife, Gena Burden; his mother, Lois Cantrell; his children, Brenda, Alexes, Skylar, Faith and Fisher (Ethan); his sisters, Krista Kennedy (Michael), Rachel Barnes (Zack), and Rebekah Cruz (Tommy); his brothers, Randall Cantrell, Gary Cantrell (Candy), and Louis Cantrell (Carissa) 16 grandchildren, Rico, Mason, Katie, Cora, Beau, Addy, Syra  Nelly, Antonio, Adriel, Jasiah, and Onyx

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Rudy Cantrell; his grandparents, Vernie "Dink" and Claudia Cantrell, and Charles Manuel and Anna Mae Martin.
