Billy L. Rollins, of Plainview, Texas passed away on August 25, 2014. Billy was born on February 2, 1941, in Anna, Texas, to Grady and Myrtle Lee (Jamison) Rollins. On May 18, 1985 he married Patsy Lindsey of Lamesa, Texas. Billy was a member of College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Billy retired from Gebo's Farm & Ranch Supply after 36 years of service and was active with Plainview Crime Stoppers. He loved sports, and was well know for his green thumb. Billy never met a stranger. No matter where he went, he always ran into someone he knew. He is survived by his wife, Pat Rollins of Plainview, Texas; children, Lisa Rollins and husband Travis of McKinney, Texas, Tammy Norris and husband Travis of Celina, Texas, Billy Rollins and wife Dana of Salisbury, North Carolina, Amy Smith and husband James of Atlanta, Georgia, grandchildren, Tyler Norris, Sjonica Mallard, Taylor Norris, Ky Smith, Abby Adams, Madison Rollins, Preston Rollins, and Mason Rollins, great grandchildren Madilyn and Morgan Mallard, brother Grady Bob Rollins of Anna, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mike, Jerry, and Larry Rollins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Coffman Cemetery in Anna, Texas.
