A Chapel Service for Bill "Grandad" Taylor, 69, of Plainview, will be held at 10:30 am, on July 6, 2017 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Oscar Chavez-Area Community Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mr. Taylor passed from this life on July 3, 2017 in Plainview.

Bill was born on December 21, 1947 in Lubbock to Clinton and Martha (Robinson) Taylor. He married Neva Short on March 25, 2007 in Cameron, Texas. Bill was a retired Master Electrician. Working in several states. He owned Shady Lane R.V. Park in Plainview. Bill worked hard all of his life. He loved fishing, and sitting around enjoying time with his friends. Bill was a Grandad to many people.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Neva Taylor and one sister Kenna Dalrymple and husband Jackie of Lubbock, and many friends that he considered family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
