Memorial services for Bill Rankin "B.B." Brown, 56 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Dick Burnett officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Brown died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Plainview.
Bill and his twin brother, Mike were adopted by Virgil and Dorothy Asher Brown on September 5, 1956. The twin boys were born in Denton County, Texas and were brought back to Plainview by Virgil and Dorothy on September 11, 1956 to a very excited and happy group of family and friends. Bill was a member and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in Plainview and also a long time member of the First Baptist Church. Bill is survived by a son, Shawn Brown and many many friends. His parents and twin brother preceded him in death. In keeping with Bill's memory, we ask that those in attendance to come dressed in their favorite, very casual attire.
