Betty Anderson, age 71, of Plainview, TX., was born on November 25, 1945 in Downsville, Texas to Hue Gray and Lou Willie (Lawrence) Anderson and left to be with God on June 2, 2017.
Betty was a retired RN nurse. She worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Betty loved her job. Betty was a graduate of Wayland College. She attended several colleges. Betty had worked at a lot of jobs throughout her life. She was a very intelligent woman. She had a chance to travel to fulfill her dreams. Betty loved dressing up and getting her hair done. She was a very special and unique woman. Until we meet again. And a hello to your sister, our Mom.
Betty is survived by her nephews; Thomas Glenn, Troy Glenn, Charles (Gena) Glenn, and Cory Glenn. Nieces; Tina (Harold) Glenn, and Carla Glenn. Also, she is survived by a host of great nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan Glenn, and son Cameron Thomas, and nephew; Tony Anderson.
A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
