Funeral services for Bertha Lee Finley, 91 of Plainview will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Oscar Chavez officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Finley passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Plainview. She was born on October 6, 1922 in Floyd Coounty to Tom and Beula Crabtree Jernigan. She married Leonard Finley on November 1, 1946 in Floydada, Texas. She is survived by one son, Milton Finley and wife Beth of Plainview; two grandsons, Mike Finley of Plainview and Kyle Finley of Lubbock; four nieces, Shirley Durmon of Amarillo, Barbara Gross and husband Mervin of Lubbock, Ann Murphy and husband Edgar of Lubbock and Linda Roberson of Lubbock; one nephew, Dean Jernigan and wife Jeanette of West, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Finley, both parents and one brother, Jack Jernigan.
