Barbara Wyvetta Jackson, 89, of Plainview, departed this earthly world and entered heaven's gates on January 11, 2021. A graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery located in Mound City, Kansas at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home at 9-11 a.m.

Barbara was born on July 23, 1931 to Glen and Opal Davey in Parker, Kansas. She married Jimmy Jackson on February 2, 2008 at First Christian Church where she was a deacon and part of the choir. Barbara was involved in the Sr. Dance Club and Pink Ladies. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jimmy Jackson of Plainview, and two sisters; Evona McIntosh and Joyce Burns. She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Glen and Opal Davey, and two brothers; John and Rex Davey.
