Funeral services for Armando "Monty" Musquiz, 70 of Houston will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Trinity Life Church, 12th & El Paso in Plainview. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at the funeral home. Mr. Musquiz died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Houston. He was born October 6, 1944 in Ballinger, Texas to Martin and Maria (Luna) Musquiz. He is survived by 2 sons, Michael and Rachael Musquiz of Humble, TX and Monty and Corri Musquiz of Grand Forks AFB in Grand Forks, ND; 3 daughters, Melissa Valenzuela and Juan Amaya of Plainview, Sylvia Musquiz of Houston and Amanda Musquiz and James Cosman of Conroe, TX; 5 brothers, Baldemar and Lupe Musquiz of Phoenix, AZ, Roberto and Mary Musquiz of Tulia, Jessie and Janie Musquiz of Seguin, TX, Sargio and Yolanda Musquiz of Hale Center and Sonny and Jane Musquiz of Plainview; 4 sisters, Ramona Martinez of Allen, TX, Rosa Leija of Plainview, Mary Lou Martinez of Hale Center and Bertha and Joe Longoria of Plainview; grandchildren, Milinda Flores and Jonathan Lopez, Brandon Flores, Cassandra Flores and Ricky Flores all of Plainview, Nia Musquiz and Micheal Musquiz of Humble, TX, Carter Hernandez and Katie Hernandez of Conroe, TX and Isaiah Jacob Montes of Houston; great grandchildren, Aiden and Ava Lopez of Plainview. Preceded in death by both parents and 1 brother, Martin Musquiz.
