Anselma Rocha, 83, of Floydada, passed from this life on September 8, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Bartley Funeral Home at 2 p.m with Pastor Joe Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Anselma was born to Theodoro and Estanisiada (Asebedo) Garza in San Saba, Texas on April 21, 1936. Anselma enjoyed serving in her church and helping those in need. Her hobbies included embroidery, working in her yard, cooking and baking. She loved making tortillas and hot meals for her family, friends and guests in her home.

Most of all she enjoyed phone calls with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her siblings. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Delia Hernandez of Floydada, Texas, Soila Flores and husband, Raymond, of Silverton, Texas, Rene Santos of Floydada, Texas, sisters; Christina Guzman of Plainview, Texas, Nicky Jimenez and husband, Chow, of Plainview, Texas, Maria Garcia and husband, Paco, of Lawton, Oklahoma, brother; Jimmy Garza and wife, Sandy, of Floydada, Texas.

Anselma is preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Rocha, parents; Theodoro and Estanisiada (Asebedo), son; Joel Santos, and a daughter; Yolanda Santos
