Funeral services for Annie Mae Turner, 49 of Arlington will be at 9:00 A.M. Saturday December 17, 2011 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Gloria Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Ms. Turner died on Monday December 5, 2011 in Fort Worth. She was born on May 18, 1962 in Plainview to Billie Roy Turner and Eddie Savage. While living in Plainview, she worked for the Plainview Daily Herald and Excel. She moved to Arlington in 2006. She was a member of United Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Dontr'l Roberts of Grand Prairie, TX; one daughter, Tamekia Laster and husband Jonathan of Arlington, TX; one sister, Billie Cook and husband Norman of Tyler, TX; one grandson, Dorian Laster of Arlington; four aunts, Era Jean Turner, Martha Jane Turner, Carolyn White, and Nina Jo Green; five uncles, Roger Turner, Joe Turner, Delbert Turner, Allen Turner and Darin Turner; A host of Cousins.
