Anita Castillo, 76, of Plainview, departed this earthly world and stepped into heaven's gates on April 6, 2022. Services will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Sergio Bernal officiating. A rosary will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 at Bartley Funeral home from 6-8 p.m.

Anita was born on March 27, 1946 in Cotton Center, Texas to Alfredo and Simona (Jimenez) Flores. She married Ramiro Castillo. Anita will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend.

Those left to cherish her memory is her children; Lupe Baca (Louis) of Plainview, Simon Castillo (Sandy) of Plainview, Ramiro Castillo Jr. (MaryAnn) of Hale Center, and Fidel Castillo (Jessica) of Plainview, brothers; Paul Flores of Dimmitt, Alfredo Flores of Plainview, Juan Flores of Ralls, and Ramon Flores of Lubbock, sisters; Catarina Quintero of Waxahachie, Carolina Flores of Plainview, Rosalinda Vargas of Plainview, Beatrice Flores of Lubbock, Sylvia Guerrero of Hale Center and Teresa Gerhardt of Floydada. Anna was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Ramiro Castillo, her parents; Alfredo and Simona (Jimenez) Flores, her son; Jerry Victor Flores, a brother; Joe Angel Flores, and a sister; Margarita Flores.
