Funeral services for Angelita Cano, 86 of O'Donnell will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Pius Catholic Church in O'Donnell with Rev. Eduardo Teo officiating. Interment will follow in O'Donnell Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Pius Catholic Church. She died on Monday, January 21, 2013 in Fort Worth. She was born on February 7, 1926 in Pana Maria, Texas to Jose and Andrea Cazares. She lived in O'Donnell 50 years and was an active member of St. Pius Catholic Church which she helped build. She is survived by 1 son, Jim Cano and wife Gracie of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Emma Ramos and husband David of Lubbock and Lidia Sanchez and husband Jessie of Fort Worth; 3 brothers, Johnny Cazares of Gail, TX, Paul Cazares of San Antonio and Henry Cazares of Lubbock; 4 sisters, Lupe, Mary, Janie and Nancy all of O'Donnell; 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Jessie Cano, Sr. on May 10, 2004; a son, Jessie Cano, Jr. on November 9, 1996; 1 brother, Jose Cazares and 1 sister, Lucia Pena.
