Celebration of life funeral services for Angel Rodriguez, 76, of Kress, Texas will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 21, 2016 at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview Texas with Robert Garza of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Memorial services will include Linda Rodriguez and Jade Villeda. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. He died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Ropesville, TX. He was born November 26, 1939 in Colonia Esperanza Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Francisca Rodriguez on June 9, 1960 in Mexico. He was a farmer. Survivors Include: wife, Francisca Rodriguez of Kress, Texas, 2 sons, Mario Rodriguez of Amarillo, and Angel Rodriguez of Lubbock, 3 daughters, Belia Alvarez of Plainview, Chriselda Sanchez of Ft. Worth and Lorena Munoz of Plainview, 4 brothers, Abel Rodriguez of El Paso, Rodolfo Rodriguez of Ft. Stockton, Jose Rodriguez of Arizona, and Roberto Rodriguez of El Paso, 3 sisters, Lidia Sandoval of El Paso, and Juanita Pacheco and Antonia Ortiz of Ft. Stockton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angel Rodriguez and Juaquina Armenta, a daughter Linda Rodriguez, and three grandchildren; Jade Villeda, Marco Rodriguez and Bianca Munoz. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, from 5 to 8 pm at Bartley Funeral Home.
