Ambrosia Torres Guerra's Obituary
Funeral Mass for Ambrosia Torres Guerra, 79 of Plainview will be at 11:00 am Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Guerra died Sunday March 25, 2012 in Plainview. She was born December 7, 1932 in Goliad, TX to Gabriela Benitez and Julio Torres. She married Rosendo Guerra in 1954 in Victoria, TX. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include four sons, Vincent Guerra and wife Mary of Plainview, Henry Guerra and wife Rosemary of Hereford, Julian Guerra of Plainview, Albert Guerra of Plainview; four daughters, Orlean Guerra of Hereford, Rosalinda Arroyos and husband Guadalupe of Lubbock, Rebecca Anima and husband Alfred of Spearman, TX, Stella Guerra of Plainview; one brother, Gilbert Rivera of Victoria, TX; two sisters, Janie Nieto and Vincenta Reyes both of Victoria, TX; 21 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, one son, Alvin Torres Guerra; three sisters, Frances Guerra, Matilda Rios and Alice Rivera.
