Funeral mass for Amada Rosalia Mejia, 69 of Hart will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hart, Texas with Father Raj Malapady officiating. Burial will follow in Olton Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. Mrs. Mejia died Friday, September 12, 2014 in Plainview. She was born September 4, 1945 in Mexico to Pablo and Josefina Castro Galvan. She married Ramon Mejia on December 19, 1965 in Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Ramon Mejia of Hart; 2 sons, Pablo Mejia and partner Thomas Thacker of Dallas and Jesus Mejia and wife Natalia of Olton; 3 daughters, Delia Corrales and husband Juan of Hart, Antonia Mejia of Georgia and Angelica Mejia of Hart; 1 brother, Marcelino Galvan and wife Rosa of Hart; 2 sisters, Maria Mata of Arizona and Zita Rivera of Hart; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 daughters, 1 son and 2 brothers.
