Alberto Ochoa,  65,  of Plainview, passed from this life on July 13, 2020. Private services will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.

Alberto was born on August 7, 1954 to Tomas and Severa Ochoa in Nordheim, Texas.  He graduated Lockney High School in 1972 and attended Business College in Plainview and then Texas Tech. Alberto married Lisa Gillespie on January 10, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He farmed with his brothers and  loved doing it. Alberto enjoyed watching baseball especially his favorite team, the Houston Astros. Alberto always had a smile on his face that will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lisa Ochoa of Plainview, brothers; Alex Ochoa and wife, Diana, of Pharr, Texas, Tomas Ochoa Jr. of Plainview, Ray Ochoa and wife, Sheryl, of Idalou, Texas, and Alfred Ochoa of Plainview, a sister; DeeAnn Ochoa of Lubbock, and special nieces and nephews; Erin Ochoa, Tierney Lecocke, Karen Cruz, Kristyn Garcia, Derek Garcia, Christopher Ochoa, Darren Ochoa, Adrianna Segura, Vincent Ochoa, Audry Longoria, Sophia Segura, and Diego Segura.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Alice Cruz
